Houston, Texas –
In a Balkanized political race for Texas Congressional District 2, there are 9 candidates campaigning in the Republican Primary to replace retiring Congressman Ted Poe in November. Early voting is on now through Saturday, with the Primary vote held on Tuesday, March 6th.
Gruntworks endorses candidate Lieutenant Commander Dan Crenshaw, US Navy SEAL (retired); who stands above the fray to talk about serving the constituents of the District instead of tearing down the other candidates…while several others spend their time selfishly attacking their opponents.
In addition to our support and endorsement, a local radio talk show host (with a local show in the morning, and iHeartmedia-syndicated show in the afternoon) has also endorsed Crenshaw.
Talk show host Michael Berry, known as “The Czar of Talk Radio” to his fans, officially endorsed Crenshaw, and speaks of him in today’s morning radio show…reaching tens of thousands of listeners in the Houston area.
Berry, who states in his show this morning that he doesn’t usually get involved with local politics, speaks of the dirtiness of politics, the pay-for-play candidates, and why he endorses Dan Crenshaw. You can listen to the entire show from this morning in the iHeart podcast link below. Berry starts in on politics in minute 57, and continues for the rest of the show, ending at minute 106. In these final 50 minutes of the podcast, you will hear Michael Berry speak passionately about local politics, Dan Crenshaw, and the mood of the district.
Gruntworks endorses and supports Daniel Crenshaw for Congress in the Texas Congressional District #2. Dan’s platform, and the strong words of support from Michael Berry, The Czar of Talk Radio, steel our resolve to continue in our support to help get him elected to the United States Congress to represent the Great State of Texas.
