Weekend Safety Brief 23FEB2018

Those of you getting your tax returns back – try to save a LITTLE cash for a rainy day, would ya? You don’t have to spend it all on booze, guns, and car parts. (this one is mainly an admonition for myself)

FALL IN! At east, Rest.

I guess the whole world is gonna keep on about this gun bullshit – at least until the POTUS makes up another word like “Bigly” or “Covfefe.” So here I go again…

First and foremost, both Alex Jones and Michael Moore are both idiots. The Hogg kid is just a douche – not a crisis actor (link below), and we *do not* have a gun problem, regardless of the foolish shit that MM and the like have to say.

I swear to Christ, if ONE MORE fucker brings up Australia’s solution to their “gun problem” I am gonna PT them to death.

However, Mass Shootings suck. Further – almost every single one is either perpetrated by someone who is mentally ill, or a terrorist with an ideological bent (I say they are crazy as well).

Remember that we have a population of 320M. If 50% of the people are idiots, that is 160M that believe those two idiots (Jones and Moore). Those idiots also tend to be fat, lazy, and stupid. If only 10% of us are outstanding people, that is still 32M people – meaning there are still more outstanding Americans than the whole upside down, in the future livin, digeridoo playin, Crocodile Dundee lookin, shrimp on the barbie gnoshin, Fosters drinkin, holier than tho, population of ‘Straya. Jes Sayin.

The whole thing is a numbers game really, so let’s looks at statistics. (I know, there are lies, damned lies, and statistics – but I am going to try to be fair about it) – there are an estimated 320M guns in the US (One for EVERY MFer in the country bitches!), 1/4(ish) of the population owns them. Soooo 80M people are ‘MURICA stronk. Figure that just .00001% of them are lunatics that somehow slipped thru the cracks, and are now waiting to go batshit crazy – that is 80 potential murderous killers just waiting to go all Ted Bundy or Nikolas Cruz.

But wait – lets look at the REAL numbers of crazy fuckers in the US. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Approximately 1 in 25, that is about 9.8 million, or 4.0% of Americans —experiences a serious mental illness in a given year, that substantially interferes with or limits one or more major life activities. Let’s use that number. Out of the 80M of the gun owners in the US let’s say that 4% have “serious” mental issues. That is 3.2M with some sort of screw loose. This doesn’t mean that they are dangerous, necessarily. Of those, only 62.9% have actually been treated. That leaves about 37% that are untreated (37!?!?), which comes out to about 1.2M people that are not even medicated.

Think about that for a second. If we are even close, 1.2 MILLION gun owners are “seriously” affected by mental issues – and they are NOT being treated. Again – not all of these are dangerous.

In 1964, Washington, DC, instituted a standard for civil commitment that established that a person must be determined to have a mental illness before he or she could be hospitalized against his or her will. Second, the person had to pose an imminent threat to the safety of him- or herself or others or be shown to be “gravely disabled,” meaning that he or she could not provide for the necessities for basic survival. This, BTW, is also the standard used to actually restrict a person’s 2A rights due to mental illness.

What does that tell us? This tells us that there are a lot of people out there that need help. But wait, how many people are actually committed, in inpatient treatment? Well – including those that are voluntarily committed, and those that are only committed for evaluation – 1% (or less) than the adult population of the US – that is 3.2M people. Let’s say an equal number ought to be committed (I think it is way more).  Again, using the numbers above, that means that about 1.2M of those that SHOULD BE committed are not only running around in public – but doing so without *any* treatment (strange that the numbers come out so similar, eh?). Man, let’s just call this what it is – a fucking nightmare waiting to happen. If my numbers are right (to be fair, they may not be, I am a MathTard), that means that in that school of 3200 kids that just got shot up – 10 of them are seriously mind-fucked, off their meds (or not getting any treatment), need to be institutionalized, and dangerous to themselves or others. So, is it any wonder that 1 out of that 3200 actually snapped and hurt people? BTW – he could have become a bomber, serial killer, stabby fucker, or goat rapist (see also: ISIS/Al Qaeda) – so let’s not just focus on the gun part.

Ok, I am losing my voice. So lets cut this off here. I think you get my point. For you ASVAB waiver types – this is a serious mental health problem in which we need to bring back old-fashioned nut houses, loony-bins, psych wards, funny farms, madhouses, rubber rooms, and booby hatches.

Alright then –

Roll in fire teams.

Don’t stick your dick in Crazy.

Strippers don’t love you.

Dependas are the most dangerous creatures in the jungle.

Don’t bother with churches, government buildings or city squares. If you want to know about a culture, spend a night in its bars.

Don’t drink and drive.

Don’t mess with the CO’s daughters – MEACH! Speaking of which – PUSH!

No sword fighting – SGT P!

Those of you getting your tax returns back – try to save a LITTLE cash for a rainy day, would ya? You don’t have to spend it all on booze, guns, and car parts. (this one is mainly an admonition for myself)

Have a good weekend, you pack of degenerates.
