Gruntworks Military Humor Safety

Weekend Safety Brief 8SEP2017

Alright Gents, gather up – I gotta make this quick, as my day job requires me to be on call for Irma, and I have to get my kids and the house bunkered down before that.

Before anything else – Monday is 9/11, I am not gonna rant. Just remember why we are still at war brothers.  If you don’t remember, go watch the news footage from the day.  That should get you motivated all over again.

It looks like we are in for a hell of a ride this weekend and next week down here in the Sunshine State. Gruntworks HQ is in the direct line of approach for this big nasty wet bitch, but this is a CAT 5 right now – and having lived through a couple, the wind is what will kill you down here.  Yes, there will be flooding and water, especially on the barrier islands. But fortunately, Florida is actually ecologically much better off than Texas or Louisiana to handle flooding.  On the other hand, 185 MPH sustained wind is like the fist of an angry god.

So, just as we had SGT P’s back and that of everyone else in Tejas, we will have your back here. Purchases of both the TX and FL infidel shirt will result in a 100% donation to help displaced vets.

WSB 9-8 gunsWell, I gotta pack the guns, shelf stable food, and other essentials before packing up my collection of first edition books in pelican boxes – that Bitch Irma ain’t getting my Hemingways!WSB 9-8 books

As Governor Scott and many other have said – if you are in the impact areas (pretty much the whole fucking peninsula) and you can, GTFO – This is gonna suck.

Chop, you and everyone at Ground Zero know the deal. I will be doing my thing.

As for Safety for the rest of you – you have heard it before. Don’t be a douche or get yourself into trouble.  I gotta jam.

This is a big storm and it might ruin everything, but we might as well enjoy it.
