USMC KC-130 crashes, killing all 16 aboard

Gruntworks 11 July 2017

Yesterday, around 1600 Central Time Zone, a Marine KC-130 from Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 452 (VMGR-452) crashed in LeFlore County Mississippi killing all 16 Marines on board.

Names of the crew haven’t been released, pending notification of family members. Likewise the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

A local man, Andy Jones, stated at around 1600 he heard a big boom. Mr. Jones also stated he looked up and watched the plane spin and corkscrew down into a soybean field. Soybeans are waist high plants and Jones stated that there wasn’t much of the plane sticking above the plants.  Semper Fi Devil Dogs.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.

Our God is in charge. We shall all meet at the designated Rally Point in due time. Our beloved Marines have gone on before us to secure the area. They are in good company.
